Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs the use of ZooData's data collection and intelligence services. By using ZooData, you agree to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, third-party platform rules (including those of applicable e-commerce platforms), and this policy.

1. About ZooData

ZooData is an agent-directed tool that collects and analyzes publicly available information on demand. ZooData provides two layers of capability:

• Data Collection: Agent-directed data collection from web sources
• Domain Intelligence: Pre-processed, structured intelligence for e-commerce (with more verticals planned)

2. Permitted Uses

• Product research and market analysis using ASINs, keywords, or categories you specify
• Competitive intelligence for your own business operations
• Integration into AI agent workflows for automated research and monitoring
• Academic research and data analysis using publicly available information
• Building applications that consume ZooData API responses

3. Prohibited Uses

• Redistributing or reselling raw API response data to third parties
• Accessing, scraping, storing or distributing content in violation of third-party rights and the terms of service of applicable third-party platforms
• Using data for personal identification, profiling, or marketing harassment of individuals
• Training AI/ML models on exported data without explicit written permission
• Circumventing rate limits, authentication controls, or other platform safeguards
• Misrepresenting ZooData data as originating from or endorsed by any e-commerce platform
• Using the Service to replicate, mirror, or create a substantially similar database to any third-party platform's product catalog or review corpus
• Reproducing or publicly displaying copyrighted product descriptions, images, or review text obtained through the Service beyond what is necessary for internal analytical purposes
• Automating purchases, creating fake reviews, manipulating seller rankings, or engaging in any activity that distorts e-commerce platform integrity
• Any use that violates applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights

4. Data Handling

ZooData delivers a mix of AI-generated insights, structured intelligence, aggregate statistics, and — depending on the endpoint and subscription tier — underlying review and product content sourced from public pages. The obligations in Section 3 apply to all returned content, regardless of which endpoint or surface produced it. Customers must additionally honour the copyright, database rights, and terms of service of the source platforms from which the content originates.

ZooData does not grant customers any rights in third-party content beyond those they may already enjoy under applicable law.

ZooData employs a number of technical safeguards to reduce legal exposure from data collection activities. Notwithstanding these measures, Customers remain solely responsible for ensuring their specific use of the data is lawful under all applicable laws.

5. Enforcement

We reserve the right to monitor compliance with this AUP. Violation of this AUP may result in suspension or termination of API access. We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

6. Reporting Abuse

If you believe someone is misusing the service, please report it to support@zoodata.ai.
